日本人の発想だと、”Could you give us some more details?”というような言い方をしそうですが、外国人投資家からは
“Could you give us a little bit more color on that?” のような言い方をよく聞きます。
Oxford Learner’s Dictionariesのウェブバージョンで”colour”（イギリス英語なのでこの綴り）を検索してみると、6番目に” interesting details” （興味深い詳細）というのが出てきます。
そこで、
- to add/give/lend colour to something
で、make it brighter, more interesting, etc.（より明るく、興味深いものにする）と説明されています。
”Could you give us more color?”でGoogle検索してたまたまヒットしたこちらのサイトにも実例が載っています。

例えば、
”I want to provide a little more color about our updated expectations for 2018.”
「2018年の修正見通しについて、もう少し詳細をご説明します。」
“I was wondering if I could get a little bit more color on two of your charts, please.”
「お示しの二つのチャートについて、もう少し詳細を伺えないかと思っていました。」
こういう言葉を使えると、こなれた英語に聞こえますね。
